Have you ever wanted to charge a little extra for a category to be displayed on your sites home page... as well as the contents in that category? Or maybe you don't want to charge for this service, but may want to advertise items from specific categories on your home page? This mod is very flexible.
This mod will do that and will allow you as admin to select the categories you want displaying as featured items on the home page. The featured category items will be placed on the home page above the recently listed items and you can set up as many categories as you like.
This mod is very useful for your home page as it will show activity and not leave an empty look for feeling to the site. |
